Melting point: Approximately -85°C to -86.5°C.
Boiling point: Boiling points vary slightly from one source to another, but are generally between 103°C and 125°C.
Density: Relative density (water=1) is about 0.965 to 0.97.
Solubility: glycol methyl ether is miscible with water, ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents.
Stability: stable at room temperature and pressure.
Chemical Properties
Ethylene Glycol Methyl Ether has certain reactivity and can synthesise other compounds through specific chemical reactions.
